Why Life Coaching?

We all get stuck and need help from time to time. Even the highest-achieving executives, leaders, artists, and athletes run into roadblocks that leave them wondering how to move forward. Whether you have struggled with overthinking, fear of rejection, worry, sadness, or other issues for decades or for days, you can benefit from a nonjudgmental, compassionate life coach who sees new possibilities and offers fresh perspectives. Some benefits of life coaching include:

  • clearer sense of identity, goals, and life purpose
  • increased flexibility, balance, blood pressure, stamina, and general physical health
  • improved focus, mental clarity, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • better emotional regulation and ability to process change
  • greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-control
  • healthier relationships/support networks,
  • more positive expectations, self-talk, and habits

How is a Life Coach Different from a Therapist or Counselor?

Think of a great coach for any sport, and you have an idea of how a life coach works with people. My goal is to help you conquer obstacles, create new patterns in life, and reach goals soon, so you don’t need my help for long. I do not diagnose what’s “wrong” with you, prescribe medications or “cures,” or “fix” anyone. As a life coach, I help YOU decide the direction you want to go, devise plans to get on that new path, and follow through until you break through.

How Are You Different As a Life Coach?

My style of life coaching looks at you as a whole human being, because I recognize that your physical health, mental health, emotional well-being, and spiritual health all affect each other. As your life coach, I listen deeply, ask questions, and explore every way to improve your state of being. I constantly do research to learn new ways to help clients, and I readily refer you to resources if I lack expertise in your area of need.
